At Amazing Grace African Supermarket, customer satisfaction is important to us. We take pride in providing quality African groceries, fresh produce, frozen foods, beverages, and freshly prepared grilled meals. If there is an issue with your order, we’re here to help.


1. Return Eligibility

Due to the nature of food and grocery products, not all items are eligible for return.

Eligible for Return or Refund

You may qualify for a refund or replacement if:

  • You received the wrong item.
  • The item was damaged during delivery.
  • The item was expired upon delivery.
  • The item was missing from your order.
  • The product arrived in an unusable condition.

Requests must be submitted within 24 hours of receiving your order.


2. Non-Returnable Items

For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Fresh produce
  • Perishable foods
  • Frozen products
  • Dairy products
  • Meat and seafood products
  • Prepared meals and grilled foods
  • Opened food items
  • Products that have been consumed or partially used

Unless the item was delivered damaged, incorrect, or defective.


3. Grilled Food & Prepared Meal Orders

All grilled food and prepared meal sales are final.

Because these items are prepared fresh to order, we cannot accept returns once an order has been collected or delivered.

However, if:

  • Your order was incorrect
  • An item was missing
  • The food arrived damaged

Please contact us within 2 hours of delivery, and we will review the issue and determine an appropriate resolution.


4. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please:

  1. Take clear photos of the item.
  2. Contact us within the required timeframe.
  3. Include your order number and a brief description of the issue.

Our team will review your request and may offer:

  • A replacement item
  • Store credit
  • A partial refund
  • A full refund (where appropriate)

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during checkout.

Refund processing times may vary depending on your payment provider but typically take:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 3–10 business days
  • Digital Wallets: 1–5 business days
  • Other payment methods: Subject to provider timelines

6. Order Cancellations

Before Order Processing

Orders may be canceled for a full refund if they have not yet been prepared, packed, or dispatched.

After Order Processing

Once an order has been prepared, packed, or dispatched, cancellations may no longer be possible.

Grilled Food Orders

Grill and BBQ orders cannot be canceled once food preparation has begun.


7. Delivery Issues

If your order is marked as delivered but you did not receive it, please contact us immediately.

We may investigate delivery records and work with our delivery partners to resolve the issue.


8. Store Credit

In certain situations, we may offer store credit instead of a refund. Store credits may be used toward future purchases at Amazing Grace African Supermarket.
